This work was selected as part of the nomination for the Kiruna Art Scholarship in 2020, which included an offered artist residency in Kiruna. The selection placed the work in a public and institutional context, generating dialogue beyond the studio. During the exhibition period, the work received sustained attention from visitors, with recurring reflections centered on movement, vulnerability, and collective presence within the landscape. These responses became an important part of the project, reinforcing how meaning emerges through encounter rather than intention.
The nomination marked a moment where my work was tested within a broader context, confirming the relevance of my ongoing exploration of landscape as a shared psychological and spatial experience. The residency offer further emphasized the role of place and distance in my practice.
